Our baseball and softball programs provide a safe and positive place for participants to learn about the game, teamwork and good sportsmanship. The program also teaches youths from age six to 18 the skills and techniques needed to compete at the high school level. We currently participate in the Police Athletic League in Birmingham.

A long-standing centerpiece of our athletic programs, the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club basketball league teaches our members basic basketball skills, promotes good sportsmanship and allows them to have good, healthy fun. Members ages six to 18 who are not participating in their high school programs are eligible.

The A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club Cheer team gives participants the opportunity to learn cheer and dance basics while supporting our athletic teams. Cheer registration starts at the beginning of May and the season starts in August. No experience is required and all members are encouraged to register.

The Youth Flag Football league plays five-on-five and team registration is limited to eight players. Individual and team registrations are welcome. See league rules for more details.

Our competitive football program has teams in six weight divisions: 75 lb., 85 lb., 95 lb., 110 lb., 120 lb. and 135 lb. Registration is in early May and the season starts in August with practice times and locations being determined by the coaching staff.
